Other weekly recap -
- Made these meals in preparation for the upcoming fall schedule. Chop everything up, freeze it, throw it in the crockpot and you've got dinner. We've tried the BBQ dish and it's Awesome!! My kind of meals!
- Bought some boots. I might try and see if we can become legally wed. Sorry Aaron!
- Commissioned a kichen table. It's great when you have people in your life who are incredibly talented. It never ceases to amaze me. I will definitely be doing a post on this in the future.
- Decided on a color for the cabinets in the bathrooms. Now, when I'll actually get around to this is anyone's guess. I'll add it to the list behind painting the laundry room, the front door and trim. 0_o Yikes.
Phew! Enjoy the long weekend everyone!

Ohh love the freezer meal ideas!
I literally had to tear myself away from that blog before i got it in my head to build something this weekend.... love it, but no so sure Tez will!
Ok and due to Jenny's comment i just got done looking at the recipes... this post was GOLDEN!
It took a couple hours to get all the ingredients together and put in the bags, but Easiest thing ever to make and it was Really good. Let me know if you both end up trying them!
Did you put it on low before work? That would make it cook for over 8 hours but if you wait until you get home you eat at 9 :/ This is the part of crockpot meals I can't get my head around.
Maria, I usually put crockpot stuff like this in the pot in the morning and then pop it on low and eat around 6 or so.
Um, yes, I agree. The slow cooker stuff- AMAZING!
I have a huge book of slow cooker recipes and I might see how many I can convert into this for when I can't cook!
Maria- Do you have a timer for your slow cooker? Mine lets me set it to only go for a certain amount of time. Then it just stays on the "keep warm" setting until I come home. If you don't have a timer, you can purchase an outlet timer, that works too. It turns off the power after a certain time.
Maria - I'm with Caitlyn. I have a timer on my slow cooker and when it's done, it just keeps it warm. I turn it on before I leave for work (low for 8 hours) and when I get home it's usually on the keep warm setting. It works really well.
Ok sounds good!
