Well, I tried. I really did. But every time I walked into the kitchen, I would just cringe a little bit. My mother told me the color was too different and wouldn't go. I knew this, but thought that's what I wanted anyway. I liked the chairs. I just didn't like them where they were. Oh well, back to the drawing board. This is a nicer alternative while I'm looking though. At least I had a whole bunch of leftover fabric.

You're so creative. They both look great; however, the current pattern looks like it might "compete" less with other decor. Then again, I have no idea what your place looks like and might be talking out of my *&&... :-P
