We went to Kroger the other night to get ingredients for these lovely little pretzels I made. Today was food day at work and this is what I made. They're easy but they take Forever!! Wouldn't they make the perfect little food for a shower or something?
And while we were at Kroger I kept saying to Aaron what a shame it was that the Kroger's in Memphis don't have hydrangeas like the ones in Houston do. And then as we were walking up to the registers to pay, what do you think we found?!?!
These are one of my favorite flowers! I was so excited to find them. I love having fresh flowers in the house!!
Also, we had a gift certificate to World Market from Christmas and couldn't really think of anything to buy except this mat:
Now I just need to pay a quick visit to the Williams Sonoma outlet and update my kitchen textiles...
Aaron finally got a gun. He's been talking about it forever and this last Saturday, I think, we went over to Guns and Ammo and he picked him up one. (He has his guns license, so don't worry :)) So, we went to the shooting range yesterday because he wanted me to shoot it and get used to it just in case, Lord help us all, I have to use it. I have to say...it was really scary and harder than I thought it would be. It was really loud too. But, I'm glad I went. It would be really bad to be that nervous plus having somebody running at you. He wouldn't pose with his new toy, but here's him cleaning it:

And here's my recycling for the day-I had an iron "tree" that held votives and well, after one too many bouts with the kitty, too many of them broke and it just started looking sad. SO- there were still several holders that weren't broken just sitting in the closet...and I decided to bust them out.
Now my kitchen counter looks pretty!
I'm trying to watch Lost, though...so...that's all for now!
