It's always sad to finish a great book. In it's honor I have renamed our blog. Again. :)
Fitzgerald, though a bit much sometimes, always amuses me. I think it's the style of writing moreso than the content. He has a knack for phrasing things in such a way as to make you chuckle. For example: "Discovering that priests were infinitely more attentive when she was in the process of losing or regaining faith in Mother Church, she maintained an enchantingly wavering attitude."
You were a nice read my friend. I'll miss you. But now on to Madame Bovary.
I'm contemplating a move.
Went to the drive in Saturday night. Perfect chilly weather. Chad had never been to a drive in before- I think that makes the fourth person that I've accompanied who'd never been before. Sad! Went to Shelby Farms all day Sunday. Perfect sunny day. Got a little bit of a sunburn on my shoulers. 2 days later it snows. Looking out the window at that lovely scatterring of white, I amused myself with the thoughts of that sunburn from just yesterday. Such is life here in Memphis.
A couple of the newer SA's came into town for a conference and I got to meet mine. It was weird to actually take face to face with these people with whom I work.
I think as i get older, I'm beginning to lose a spark of idealism. "It was always the becoming he dreamed of, never the being." It's a bit intimidating to think of a dream as reality. At the same time, do you really want to pass up the time and opportunity while it's there? Hmm...maybe it's not idealism but foolishness of youth. Either way it would be pretty cool.
Oh! Finally bought something from the peanut shoppe down on Main.

I think I need a hobby. Any suggestions?

Hey Andrea it was so good to hear from you!! Thanks for the advice. I had never even heard of half.com. I will definitely give that or Amazon a try. Or maybe both. I am so surprised at how many great tips I got. I can't wait to come out of the closet with a pile of old books to sell. I am a new ebayer too, but have had an awesome experience selling some vitamins for my sister. Even splitting the profits 50/50, I still made around $250.00!! I haven't $ in sooooo long. Boy, it felt good!! I am ready to make some more....
