::take it slow

The last 2 weeks were a bit of a blur. We had a birthday party for yours truly (the cake went over like gangbusters! If you haven't tried the caramel cake from EasyWay...yes, I know...EasyWay of all places, then you need to. Like right now.) Had a lovely group come out and help me celebrate. Thanks everyone who came!!

Then came the wedding. Maybe I should say THE wedding ;) Nails, party, luncheon, party, dinners, party. Much fun was had, let's say that :) The bride looked stunning, the wedding went off without a hitch and the reception was definitely a must see. It was just a great time and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. So, B if you're reading this...you're awesome!! Welcome to married life, my friend. It's the most fun you'll have.

Next weekend I'll be heading back down to Nola for a little anniversary trip <3 I'm very much looking forward to it. If any of you have suggestions on things to do or places to eat, I'm all ears!
