I've been hoarding away some shutters for a while now and just haven't seemed to find a good use for them. However, I got an idea this last weekend.

I like...but I'm not sure that I love. I think it's the cream color against all the white. I'm wondering if I would like them better painted. This then begs the question - if I'm going to spend the time painting something and potentially still not loving it, would it not be better to just buy something else? Hmm...

Decided to try and find some fabric locally before busting out the big guns and ordering online. So I stopped by JoAnn's this weekend as I've never been before to see what was available. I was not dissapointed! If you've never been, I recommend it. Came home with some fabric and now these:

I've decided every now and then to do a post on "reminds me of". I find pictures alot of times that will look like someone I know and instead of hoarding them away never to be seen again, I figure I might as well post them in case anyone would like to use them for inspiration.

I want: These shoes. Lord knows I love a good ballet shoe and my current gold ones are looking kinda nasty.

I love: This recipe. We had this at a family function at one time or another and I've wanted to make it ever since. Would you like to come over for dinner and try it?

I have: This song. It was just released as the 4th single off the album. Seeing this performed live though...no comparison. Would highly recommend the album.

Time for another update in the adventures of kitty. Old pink doggy is pretty ratty and I won't even begin to describe what he smells like. However, a good ole trusy plaything he has been. Recently though, a new pink doggy has come to live with us. She's shiny and new and covered in flowers. Oh, a plaything she is...but kitty has a softer spot for her.
