that busy at work. Anyways- I'm thinking of redoing the lampshade on the lamp in our upstairs room. The base of the lamp is glossy, sunshine yellow. I'm going to buy a better fitting lampshade (probably in a cylindrical shape) and can't decide if I want to cover the whole shade with fabric like below:

or if I want to buy ribbon and cover it like below:
What do you think? I wouldn't choose a yellow fabric (that would be too much), but I do like the pattern on the fabric above. The ribbon look is interesting though it would take longer to do it. Thoughts? Have you ever done this before? Tips?
