::too cute not to share

Can't seem to wake up this morning. I think I need to start drinking coffee...or anything with caffeine for that matter. It seems like it's been a long week that's gone by quickly, if that makes any sense. Went to Paulette's for the anniversary dinner. It was good. Apparently it's the Bob Evans for rich widows during the week. :)

Finally decided to crack down and join the 21st century by using an iPod. I just don't take enough care of my CDs for it to be worth it. It took me the better part of a week and Countless hours getting all of my music onto my computer. Results=nice! I LOVE the shuffle option. I never know what's coming next and I've fallen back in love with many songs that have long been lost in the abyss.

This weekend=glorious nothingness. We were going to travel to Dallas for Aaron's cousin's wedding, but Aaron couldn't take off. It would have been nice to see everyone, but seeing as how we JUST drove to New Braunfels, my car (and myself, I won't lie) was a bit relieved.

Started (finishing more like) reading the last 2 books of the Chronicles of Narnia. Can't say I was a huge fan of the first five. I really liked the Magician's Nephew, but the others were dreadfully boring. I have to say though, the Silver chair has not been that bad. I'm excited to start the Last Battle because I hear it's the best book. I'll let you know.

Other than that, there's not too much else going on.

The cupcakes I made for today. My co-worker found out she's having a boy yesterday so I wanted to bring something in to celebrate. They look better in person! :)

Well we're back. Schlitterbahn was So much fun and I'm really glad we got to go. Yay for mini-vacations. We ate at all the places you can't here in Memphis, had some water slide fun and drove, drove, drove. Came back to work and realized I missed about 2 weeks worth of stuff! Crazy things going on here with the co-workers. But it'll make for some good lunch time conversation. ;)

Birthday dinner at P.F. Changs was so fun. Finally had some people over to the house. Most hadn't seen it. (sad)

So Aaron's schedule is changing again and due to some complications with the changes this weekend his superiors told him if he wanted to use his extra comp time, this would be a good time to do so. SO...we're heading to Schlitterbahn!! Woot! I didn't think we'd get to go this year with Aaron's work and all, but how perfect a weekend.

So yah...the birthday festivities begin Tuesday with dinner at the Melting Pot. Thursday I think a bunch of work peeps will go out for my birthday. Friday night is dinner at P.F. Changs and Saturday morning we'll leave for Texas baby!
