Ok...said I was going to post some picture, so here you go. They're completely out of order, but I know you can handle it!

These are the couchs we found at Macys. We're only buying enough pieces in the gray sectional to make an actual couch and we're buying the blueish couch below in a cream color.

These are the 3 dozen roses I got for Valentine's Day this year. They were just So pretty and lasted forever!

Here are the pictures of the bedding we got.

Here's the team Aaron graduated with including 3 lieutenants that came up from their department.

Here's us. Doesn't he look cute in his uniform?! :) Pardon my grossness. I straightened my hair only to walk outside in about 85% humidity. *_*

Here's Aaron getting his diploma! My little graduate!!

Ok so that's all for now.

::shameless

Oh, and btw I made 3 housewarming registries. (Shameful, I know!) I just couldn't help myself. I'm not at all wanting/expecting people to buy me anything, this was just for my sheer enjoyment. I had the best time! :) If you care to see what all I plan on getting for my house take a peak:

::back home

I did get around to taking some pictures...but they're on my home computer...which is not with me at the moment. I'll post them soon though. Graduation went well. It was really fun to get to meet these people I'd heard about for months. Aaron ran the obstacle course faster than anyone else at the academy so he got recognized at graduation for it. :) It was cute. Only 3 people were recognized and everyone would clap when they walked across the stage. Let's see, did a little shopping. Got a couple things for the house:

The knobs were for the entertainment center. They're actually more grayish-blue than the picture...but you get the idea. The bowl is for the entryway table. Cute, cute!

We also found our bedding!! Praise the Lord! I looked at every store imaginable. It took a while, but it was worth it:

It's the white quilt above with the khaki colored throw (which I put at the foot of the bed). I actually took a picture of it on our bed...but alas...it's on the home computer. Sorry. :(
I'll have actual posts later...but right now I'm just excited about getting my house all put together...or really just getting a house period. ;)

::a new day

Aaron's graduation is tomorrow! 10 weeks have finally passed and and normal routine can begin again (somewhat). I'm heading up to Nashville today, so if you'd like anything from Anthropologie whilest I'm there, let me know. :) I'll definitely be making the pit stop. Hopefully the weather won't slow me down too much.

I'll try and take a picture. I always bring my camera with me everywhere but never end up taking any pictures. *sigh But you should see Aaron in his uniform. He looks like a Village person, only cuter and less gay. :)

::inspiration

Wow, has it really been nearly a week since I last posted. The weeks are beginning to just fly by. Way too much going on.

Well, Lee to answer your question, negotiations are done and we're now doing the fun stuff-home inspection, survey, blah blah. You know. So far everything has gone well. By everything I mean the bank stuff. :) We're not too far along in the process and you never know how these things will go. I'm trying not to get too excited, which means I've only bought one piece of furniture so far. Haha...I'm way to over-zealous for my own good. It was so pretty though, and would just fit perfectly in the entry hall. Darn you, pottery barn!!

And in my attempts not to get too excited I've been pouring through magazines, websites, just anything for home decorating inspiration. I always thought it would be easy decorating my own house. Turns out, I'm alot more indecisive than I would care to admit. I keep thinking, "but what if I get tired of it". So since I haven't posted any pictures in a while, I thought I'd give you a couple of my musings so far.
Ok so paint for the den/entry hall/hallways/possibly dining room:

I unfortunately have to take into account the massive fireplace in the den (which is beautiful) which Aaron doesn't want to paint white. I'll work with it.
Cannot, for the life of me, find a bedspread I like. I want something like this but I have no idea where it came from. :(

I like these dining room tables. I like the contrast of the really simple, modern/rustic table mixed with the more classical/antiquey chairs in the first picture. And I like that the dining room table and buffet/china cabinet don't match in the second. But they still fit well together.

Anyway, that's about all I've got for now. I have lots more pictures. Maybe another time :)
Thoughts?
Oh, and I do believe I'm going to make my own curtains. Any favorite fabric stores out there?

::ready or not

Now, don't get too excited. But this has turned into much more of a reality. Much is happening very quickly. I'm just trying not to get overwhelmed. To be completely honest, I'm a little proud of myself. (*pats self on the back) With Aaron gone, all the decisions, paperwork, phone calls, appointments, scheduling must be done by me. I felt very inadequate on Saturday at the thought of having to do it all myself, but it's getting there. I don't want to say too much now because it's still early and you never know with these things.

Suffice to say, the calendar is splitting at the seams. I know I keep saying this, but today is the classic example. It's the first of the month which means we'll be incredibly busy at work PLUS one girl is away on her honeymoon= extra work. I call the attorney, have to fax him stuff. Copy machine won't copy anything using legal paper. Ugh. Have to go to Kinko's at lunch to get that taken care of. Call realtor to makes plans to drop off paperwork which means drive to east Memphis before going home. Ok.

Then I get a text asking about taking some cake decorating classes. Hmm...what time are those? 6:30. Ok, could be doable. Right after I get another text inviting everyone to a birthday dinner this evening. Well, it's my grandma, so I probably should go. What time is that? 6:00. Ok...cutting it a little close. Maybe if I get there early. Then I get an email for a Bible study starting this Thursday night. It might be a great opportunity to meet some girls that I wouldn't have the chance to meet any other way. And the study sounds really interesting. Ok, what time is that again? 6:00. *sigh Then I get a phone call from a bride to be asking if I could go to David's with her to help her pick out dresses and see what she's gotten so far. Alright...what time?

Ok, so if I go to the birthday dinner tonight, I need to go ahead and get my present. I'll do that at lunch after I stop by Kinko's. I'll drive straight from east Memphis to Bartlett to Cordova for the cooking class which goes until 8:30. Never mind the fact that I need to order a cookie bouquet for a shower I'm co hosting in a few weeks.

:) It'll all get done.
