This is quite possibly the saddest news I've received.
Good bye dear friend. You've given much excitement and inspiration.

::change of pace
Well, this week has shaped up to be Much better than it's predecessor. Finally got to run yesterday. It took forever to get over whatever thing I had. Yuck. Dinner plans on Thursday night followed by invitation addressing! I can't believe the wedding is getting so close. Showers start this Saturday. I'm really excited for all this hoopla as Aaron and I Both get to be in this one. I'm actually having a hard time finding dresses (for showers, rehearsal dinner, etc.) Granted, I've only looked online...but really, I'm not impressed. The prints this season leave much to be desired, the cuts only fit those who weigh less than 100 lbs, and just the designs...not any one's best effort I have to say. Oh well, I've still got plenty of time.
I'm thinking this may be the first year I don't get to go to the beach since like 2002/2003. We'll have to do something though. A whole summer without going anywhere...*_*

::It's always gotta be something..
Suffice it to say, last week was just one of those monumentally bad weeks. I think starting it out with the spa was a bad idea. Jinxed it from there on out. Work turned to stress which turned to illness which turned to ruined weekend. I think everyone is getting sick though, or it seems like it, so I know I definitely don't suffer alone. To all those at work who STILL have a fever, my sympathies. I've never counted down the minutes more than the time I get to drive home.
Saw a house this weekend. Only confirmed that you will never ever find the perfect house. The house itself is Lovely. Beautiful, ALL brick (and a color I actually like too...not that gross pink kind...even though the pictures make it look pink. It's actually white/gray), Huge rooms, 2 skylights, closets bigger than our apartment. but....
There's that but....
There's a very random drainage easement (spelling?) right beside the house. And by right beside, I mean 5 feet away from the air conditioning unit. Now, it may really not be a big deal at all, it's just a little weird. I mean, the house has been there 15 years and I'm certain there had to have been some pretty bad rain in those 15 years. So...should there be anything wrong, you'd think it would've happened by now. But you never know. I'm going to have someone look at it this week, hopefully. I just feel bad calling the realtor to see if I can get someone out there to look at it before even placing an offer on the house. *_* Have any of you ever run across this?
Here's to a better week and a well working easement! :)

::The 4th photo
I was tagged by Lee to post a story about the 4th picture in my 4th folder in my pictures folder.
I was first excited because the 4th folder is my 2007 trip to Destin, so I thought...oh ok, cute, beach picture. But instead I got this:

This was taken on Valentine's Day (appropriately enough) from 2007. This was our first Valentine's Day as a married couple and Aaron went All out. The pink roses (my favorite color rose), the hello kitty card (I'm truly a 12 yr. old at heart), chocolates, candles, balloons. If you'll notice the hearts on the vase...those were little construction paper hearts that Aaron had cut out himself! :) It was adorable. If you think that's cute...check this out.

I don't know if it's legal to post another picture on this, but I am. He cut out all these hearts himself, and hung them from the ceiling with string!! I can't even imagine him at the store buying all this stuff. He taped up little hearts all over the walls. He taped one on the outside door nob as a clue to what was inside when I came home from work. We went to the Melting Pot that night for dinner (fantastic). They give you a rose, a champagne toast, you get your picture taken. It really was just so great. When all the hoopla was over, we we're going to bed and Aaron had tucked a teddy bear into the covers where I sleep! It was such a cute little end of the night.
Well, there's my story. Now I tag Kim, Caitlyn, Olivia, and Jenny.

It was definitely the best Valentine's Day I'd ever had. He's got nowhere to go from here but down. :)

As my friend would say...
So the house that seemed to good to be true turned out to be exactly that.
The search continues...
