::wow

So, I had a coke today (well, Diet Coke) for the first time since 9th grade.

I have a bad headache and my stomach hurts...

I always thought I still took in quite a bit of caffeine with just the sheer amount of sugar I eat, plus I drink caffeinated tea...

I suppose it does not compare...

::yes, I know

We're totally that couple, but honestly it was just so funny to do...we couldn't pass it up. You can get your pet's picture with Santa at Petco. So, yah...we did...

Isn't he so cute! He's just terrified :)

::all things work together

Well, this will have to be short also, as work is SO busy.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Aaron is officially hired. He will have orientation in Nashville this Friday and his training (also in Nashville) will start 1/5. Thank you for all your prayers. God has truly provided for us, though it has not been the easiest to walk through. Speaking of being easy, God has a funny sense of humor doesn't he. As soon as he decides he'll answer your prayer, he sure doesn't do it in the way you'd expect. Aaron will be away for his training and I will be independent for a time. I have to say, I'm not looking forward to the nights by myself...especially since we've had 13 break ins in our apartment complex in the last 3 months. But you know, as much as God has provided for us in this season, he'll provide in the one ahead.

I promise I'll post some pictures with interesting anecdotes next time. Time has not been readily available to me as of late.

:: one more thing

Could you please pray for my grandfather? He's been in the hospital several weeks now. He had colon cancer about 20 years about and they had to do some surgery to remove built up scar tissue in his colon. Well, it's been a week since and his colon is twisted and they've tried everything "naturally" to get it to fix itself (they even had to put the ng tube in him to try and suck up anything) but it hasn't work and he's a great deal of pain. They've resorted to another surgery which they really didn't want to do in order to fix this. That all just means he'll have to go through another long period of recovery. And all the while my grandmother (his wife) was admitted to the hospital basically the same day because she has heart problems (she recently had a heart attack and ever since her heart hasn't beated normally).

So, yah...your prayers would be appreciated. :)

::alive

Yes, we are still here and breathing. The calendar has filled up with holiday fun which hopefully makes up for the lack up updates. Work is crazy as ever thanks to RMDs. If you need to take yours, now's the time. Don't wait or you will get penalized!! But seriously, I wish you could see my little dry erase calendar on our fridge. Every single day minus 2 has something written on it. InSAnity!!! I promise I'll post soon with some interesting details. I'll just leave you with...there's a VERY good chance that Aaron will be away for 2 and 1/2 months so boo.

So, how are you?
