::and that's all

This has been a crazy week. I haven't gone to bed before 11:30 or even 12:00 every night. I NEVER do this. lol. I would stay up late all the time in college but now, it's 10:30 and that light better be off or I get cranky. So, I'm sitting here at work just trying to stay awake and it's a little difficult. It's a Friday and almost lunchtime = no work for Andrea. People don't need their money apparently when the weekend hits. Whatevs.

We played volleyball last night (well let me say we attempted to play). It was so much fun! I haven't played since junior high. Both teams sucked pretty bad but that's what made it so fun. Nobody cared and we were all just having a good time. Then we headed off to see Bubba at the car show at Sonic. We met a bunch of his buddies and saw a really rare car worth $150,000. I should've stolen it :) Ate a little Sonic, which was gross but it was already 8:00 and we were starving after the gym. I'll make up for it today.

I wanted to see Christian again yesterday but we didn't have time. I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunity later though...he's just so cute and tiny! Oh, and just for the record, I'd like to say that Aaron is pretty amazing. It's really weirdly fantastic how you can be with someone so long and yet still want to hang out with them so much! And he never ceases to amaze me. How lovely to be with someone so thoughtful to others! He's just a sweetie.

Still can't decide if I'm wanting the birthday party to be dress-up or not. I'm leaning more towards no this year because last year's was.

And if you don't mind, keep us in your prayers for some direction. :) It would be appreciated.

Here's another picture of Christian (from Josh and Lee's blog):

::Babies!!

Lee is at the hospital now. Little baby Stewart is expected around noon.

I'm headed to the hospital in a bit (stupid work) and I'll post pictures as soon as I can!!

Yay! I'm an aunt!

Meet Christian Joshua Stewart:

Born at 11:00, he weighs 5 lb. 12 oz. He's tiny and the most beautiful little thing ever. He never cried the whole time we were there. Just little wiggles and hardly any baby sounds at all.
Congrats to Josh and Lee!!!

:: I don't know why

I signed up (along with Aaron by default) for a 5k next Saturday at 8:00 in the morning. Now, the race starts at 8:00 in the morning which means we have to be there earlier than that, which means I have to get up SO early...and on my only day to sleep in.

I must be some kind of sadist.
Oh, I'm fine now...but you just wait buddy boy. Just stay away from the Lakeland/Cordova area next Saturday and you'll be fine. :)
Birthday party plans are made and finalized:

6:00- Meet to all drive together
6:30- Dinner at the Majestic Grill (yum!)
8:00- Cupcakes from Muddy's at Quetzal
9:00- Swimming for anyone willing

I'm very excited...

...mostly about the cupcakes :)

::so that's how this is going to go

I have to say...I don't think I've ever gotten such a direct answer from God before in my life.

Here's to not wondering what to do next!

::don't judge me

Only because I've been reminded that my birthday is next month and the mother is inevitably going to want a list...I've decided to make one. For the longest time it only had 4 things on it (how unselfish am I!!) but yah, after some "careful" thinking, I think I've gotten the list down. It goes as follows:

1. Just to be sweet I made a Sephora registry. I didn't even know you could! It was fun.
That and gift cards are always appreciated.
2. My friends were awesome last year and got me magazine subscriptions! They were so awesome, I'd like to keep getting them:

3. Somewhat larger pearl earrings (no, not real) I already have a pair but I lost one earring *tear and I would like to replace them.

4. Like I said ealier, gift cards will do. And for a little inspiration:

5. The Spirit of the Disciplines: Understanding How God Changes Lives by Dallas Willard
6. That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis- the only one in the trilogy I don't own.

So, in somewhat less selfish news come June 21st, Aaron and I will be making our way to here. I ordered one a long time ago from here and it was just backordered for months and months. Brussel's is rarely open on a Saturday, so we jumped at the opportunity to go down there. And they're having a summer sale! Let's hope we find something good!
