::days gone by

Well we're back. It was bittersweet, leaving. Obviously the smell of the ocean, the sand and the sun will be dearly missed. One thing I won't miss...that mattress. I'm going to have to get a spinal transplant after that week :) No, but all in all it was SO much fun. Mild sunburns and sore tummies from way too much sugar intake are fond memories. Perhaps another, smaller vacation will come up a little later this year.

I always forget to take pictures. The only one taken of the two of us is aweful, so we'll let that one just sit on my computer.

Anyways- one more day off! Woot! I'm going to get my shop on and see if I can't find some clothes for work. Oh, and we're waiting for this house to open up to rent so I think we've decided to do 6 more months here. I know I know...it's only going to get hotter and hotter and we're going to fry our poor kitty to death. But we've started early my friends:

Oh yes. That's exactly what you think it is...aluminum foil. Just call us the clampets! (It's only on that top little part, not the whole window) But hey, at least the aparment will HOPEfully stay under 80 degrees and we won't make kitty do this again:

::showers and parties and plans, oh my...

Well, I can officially say that Spring has sprung. The wedding shower, baby shower, and graduation invitations have come in full force and bed bath and beyond is now recognizing my face. They no longer ask me if I'm familiar with the registry process. Lol, but it's fun! I love buying things for people...especially in such happy occasions as these. What a blessing to be a part of someone's life like that.

I'm telling you something though, my schedule has gone from 0 to 60 in a matter of days. No longer are the times of getting home right after work and putting off the visit to the grocery store, my friend. Oh no. Now a typical day has me strolling home around 7ish now. Every night.

But you don't care how busy I am. I'm just lamenting the loss of my free time a little :) It will all quite down with time. Oh, so how exicted are you about the warmer weather. I NEVER thought I would say that...but with my vacation coming up, it's just making me all the more excited.

On a little more serious note, this last weekend was aweful. We got our cat vaccinated and apparently like 2% of cats are highly allergic to this. Welcome to 2%. He threw up more times than could count. I won't get too graffic on you, but to paint you a little picture...our bathroom looked like the butcher scene from the old Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We had to take him to the emergency clinic. 7 shots later he was at home and it took him another 14 hours to stop throwing up. *_*
He's all better now, not back to 100%, but he's walking around and meowing...not eating too much...but he'll be fine.
